Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours are Mon–Fri 8am–5pm CT. You may travel to numerous IL sites (Rockford, McHenry, Elgin, Elk Grove Village, Wheaton, Aurora, Joliet, Chicago Heights, Chicago, Waukegan) for coverage.

Qualifications

• Active IL Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum 6 months Pharmacy Technician experience
• Willingness to travel to IL sites using own car

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Processes wholesalers' medication orders
• Maintains inventory records in the computer
• Assists pharmacist to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
• Performs clerical duties
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing
• Float to all sites as needed

Skills

Active IL Pharmacy Tech license

6+ months experience

Reliable transportation

Valid US driver license
