Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Float Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy operations. You will dispense prescriptions under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, perform clerical tasks, and help maintain inventory while serving multiple locations in the Greater Boston area.

Requirements include an active MA Pharmacy Technician license; travel to sites as needed and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts pharmacy technician license required.
• National certification preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy and prescription data entry.
• Immunization certification or ability to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under pharmacist supervision.
• Order, receive and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory records.
• Assist pharmacist with pharmacy functions and compliance with regulations.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain professional communication.

Education

Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license (active & unrestricted)

National Pharmacy Technician Certification

Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Immunization Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
