Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Float Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy functions across central MA and Metro West sites. The role dispenses prescriptions under supervision, manages inventory, and performs clerical tasks while adhering to regulatory requirements.

You will travel between Worcester and nearby sites, with hours Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm EST.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.
• Willingness to travel to other sites within central MA and Metro West as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Maintains professional verbal and written communication with staff and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
