Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to support multiple locations across Ohio and surrounding regions. You will work with a primary care physician to provide patient care and guest services, traveling as needed.

The role requires versatility, a valid MA certification, CPR/BLS, and occasional phlebotomy. Typical schedule spans 6am–6pm, about 24 hours per week, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (primary care preferred).
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; draw blood; support labs as needed.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Maintain supplies and assist with care coordination and outreach.
