Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a Float role covering locations in NW Ohio. The position requires travel to various sites, providing clinical support to a primary care team and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

You will assist with exams, vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and front-desk tasks as needed. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience in primary care, completed MA training, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination of care.
• Maintain medical records and communicate test results to patients.
