Job summary

Marathon Health seeks a Float Medical Assistant to join our team and support multiple locations across Ohio. The role blends front-desk and clinical duties, working with a primary care physician to ensure smooth patient care and guest experiences.

The position requires travel and a flexible schedule to cover shifts as needed. Applicants should have MA training and CPR/BLS certification, with 1+ year of experience in primary care preferred; travel is within the state, with a 24-hour weekly

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures; work with contracted labs for tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Support care team in developing patient plans and addressing gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and referrals.
