Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our float team, supporting primary care locations across Northwest Ohio. You will cover multiple clinics, perform vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and front desk tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The role requires flexibility to travel to different sites and maintain high-quality care across settings. CPR/BLS certification and MA program completion are required to start.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (preferred in Primary Care).
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• Certification or registration as MA where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections and immunizations as directed.
• Perform front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document data in medical records per guidelines; process results and communicate to patients.
• Support care team to develop patient plans and address gaps in care; travel to multiple locations as needed.
