Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Float Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide guest experience across multiple locations. The float role requires travel within the state/region and a flexible schedule.

A formal Medical Assistant program, CPR/BLS certification, and MA certification are preferred; phlebotomy experience is a plus. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• State or national MA certification/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms, ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures, and draw blood when needed.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Record data accurately in the medical record and coordinate care across locations.
