Oak Street Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to join our team and support high-touch primary care across multiple locations. The Medical Assistant will room patients, assist providers, take vital signs, and help with screenings, vaccines and basic lab tests.

Candidates should have 3+ years as a Medical Assistant, CPR certification, MA certification/registration, EMR experience, and US work authorization. Bilingual skills are a plus in serving diverse communities.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in a Medical Assistant role.
• CPR certification required.
• MA certification or registration required.
• EMR experience required.
• 2+ years of geriatric patient experience preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other local languages is a plus.
• US work authorization

Responsabilidades

• Room patients, assist providers, and keep to schedule.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience and prep patients for visits.
• Record vital signs, chief complaints, and medications.
• Perform patient screenings per protocols.
• Order supplies and restock exam rooms.
• Conduct routine quality control and infection control tasks.
• Assist with telephonic patient support under RN guidance.
• Administer vaccines and procedures as directed (ABIs, EKGs, spirometry).
• Perform waived lab tests and schedule diagnostic tests.
• Assist with durable medical equipment as needed.
