Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to join our care teams across sites. You will greet and room patients, assist providers, and participate in a high-touch primary care model focused on Medicare populations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Medical Assistant role.
• CPR Certification required.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration required; over 5 years may substitute.
• US work authorization.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist provider to maintain timely schedules.
• Deliver high-quality patient experience and prep patients for visits.
• Obtain vital signs and review medications.
• Conduct routine patient screenings per protocols.
• Order supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Perform infection control checks and QA on equipment.
• Support telephonic patient care under RN direction.
• Assist with vaccinations and procedures as directed.
• Perform waived laboratory testing and schedule diagnostic tests.
• Assist with durable medical equipment and care team meetings.

Skills

3+ years MA experience

CPR Certification

US work authorization

Bilingual (Spanish/Polish/Russian)
