Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support care teams across multiple centers. The role includes greeting patients, rooming, taking vitals, assisting providers, and performing routine diagnostic testing in a high-touch primary care setting.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of MA experience, CPR, MA certification, EMR proficiency, and strong communication. Bilingual skills are a plus; full-time, on-site positions with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Medical Assistant required.
• CPR certification required.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients timely and assist provider to stay on schedule.
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience and prep for visits.
• Obtain vitals, chief complaints and review medications.
• Deliver patient screenings per protocols.
• Order supplies and stock exam rooms.
• Support with telephonic patient communications under RN direction.
• Administer visits such as vaccinations when appropriate.
