Job summary

One Medical in Boston, MA is seeking a Float Medical Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) to provide venipuncture and clinical support across multiple offices, while upholding the One Medical standard of patient care.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, perform front desk tasks, assist with lab duties, and collaborate with practice teams and virtual clinicians to deliver seamless, human-centered service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver customer-centered solutions.
• Proficiency with multiple software systems and office technology.
• Experience working with cross-functional, multi-site teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and assist with extended scope duties as needed.
• Manage patient intake, scheduling, follow-up, and billing inquiries.
• Perform front desk duties, insurance verification, and testing prep.
• Support providers and virtual medical team with clerical tasks.
• Maintain inventory, specimen labeling, handling and processing.
