ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a Market Float role to support PCPs across the market. The MA will greet patients, take vitals, record medical history, perform routine screenings, and assist in diagnostic testing while coordinating with the care team.

The ideal candidate has a MA program credential, 3+ years of MA experience, phlebotomy skills, and BLS certification. Occasional travel to regional centers may be required; strong patient communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training is required.
• A minimum of 3 years work experience as a Medical Assistant.
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.

Responsabilités

• Greet and room ArchWell Health members and conduct intake, vitals, and medical history.
• Assist in assessing patient health conditions and perform routine diagnostic testing.
• Collaborate with PCPs and specialists; report changes in patient conditions.
• Process patient calls, relay information, and route messages to appropriate staff.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, and perform basic first aid under supervision.
• Provide health coaching and follow-up with coached patients weekly.
• Relocate to regional centers with short notice; travel reimbursements apply.
