Henry Ford Staffing is recruiting an RN for Regional Float assignments to cover multiple units across the Henry Ford Health system. The role emphasizes flexible placement, rapid orientation, and high-quality patient care in a university-affiliated health system.

Under supervision, you will float to various locations, supporting call-ins, leaves, census fluctuations, and vacation coverage while maintaining exceptional nursing standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of emergency department nursing experience.
• Ability to float to multiple locations within the health system.
• Current Michigan RN licensure and appropriate certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units, developing and evaluating nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and detect changes early.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team.
• Orient quickly to different units and care protocols within the float pool.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and interventions.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient safety standards.
• Work day and night shifts as scheduled to meet staffing needs.
