Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Flight Test Engineer to join our Test and Evaluation team at Edwards AFB. The role focuses on developing test plans for environmental control systems and leading flight test activities with strong communication across maintenance, design, and test teams.

The position requires a STEM degree and 5–8 years of related experience, plus an active Secret clearance and SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline (or Master’s) with required years of related experience.
• Active US Government Secret clearance (or in Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish environmental control system test plans, acceptance tests, schedules and procedures.
• Operate in a flight test control room and provide lab/ground support for integration testing.
• Lead test readiness reviews and pre/post-test briefings; analyze data to identify anomalies.
