Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Senior Principal Flight Test Engineer to join a 100% on-site Edwards AFB team. The role supports multiple aircraft platforms, develops test plans, and analyzes test data to ensure safe, effective flight testing.

Required are a STEM degree and active Secret clearance; SAP clearance eligibility and strong communications are essential for coordinating with maintenance, design, and test operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM; diverse engineering experience valued.
• Active US Government Secret clearance or Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain SAP clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans, detailed test plans and schedules.
• Provide laboratory support for integration testing.
• Host test planning working groups and interface with design/analysis teams.
• Review test requirements for completeness and perform system-level analysis.
• Support data analyses to identify and resolve anomalies and maintain metrics.
