Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal Flight Test Engineer for Edwards AFB. You will develop test plans, schedules and procedures, provide lab support, and coordinate with design teams to define configurations and data needs. Strong communication is essential; readiness reviews and data analyses are routine.

The role requires a STEM BS with 5+ years of experience or an MS with 3+ years, and an active Secret clearance with SAP eligibility. Overtime and shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 5 years of related experience, or Master’s with 3 years.
• Must hold active US Government Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within time frame.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Integrated Test Plans, test schedules and procedures.
• Provide lab support for integration testing and host planning groups.
• Interface with design and analysis teams to define test configs and data needs.
• Review test requirements and perform system-level evaluations.
• Support test readiness reviews, briefings, and data analyses.
