Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a full-time co-op session from January to August. You will join a team of Software and Systems engineers to design, develop, and test flight-management software for military helicopters and aircraft.

The program emphasizes hands-on mentorship, leadership, communication, and proactive teamwork to deliver quality, timely products to internal and external customers. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of Software and Systems engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into military helicopters and planes.
• Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers.
