Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA is offering an on-site opportunity for students pursuing engineering degrees to work on flight management software for military aircraft. You will collaborate with a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test features integrated into helicopters and planes.

You will grow knowledge in Systems Engineering and Flight Management Systems while developing leadership, communication, and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into military helicopters and planes
• Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers.
