Job summary

RTX is offering an internship/co-op opportunity in Cedar Rapids, IA for students pursuing an Engineering degree. You will work with Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test flight management software used in military helicopters and aircraft.

The role emphasizes building core skills in C, C++, ADA, and Python, with opportunities to learn systems engineering and flight management concepts in a collaborative environment. Onsite work with relocation eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems integrated into military helicopters and planes.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software engineers to deliver quality, timely products to internal and external customers.
• Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) in a dynamic environment.
