Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking motivated engineering students for an internship/co-op to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems used in military helicopters and aircraft.

You will work with Systems and Software engineers, apply C, C++, ADA, and Python, and learn Systems Engineering and requirements drafting while contributing to timely, high-quality products for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of Systems and Software engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into military helicopters and planes.
• Integrate soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers.
