Job summary

Mesa Airlines, Inc. seeks a Simulator Instructor to support approved New Hire, Upgrade, and Recurrent training programs. The role requires enthusiasm for teaching and a high level of knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures.

Candidates must hold an Airline Transport License, be eligible for an E-170 PIC Type Rating, and have at least 1 year of PIC/SIC experience in a transport-category aircraft. A 10-year background check is required and familiarity with 14 CFR 121.412 is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold an Airline Transport License and be eligible for E-170 PIC Type Rating.
• Minimum 1 year PIC/SIC experience in transport-category airplane.
• Able to pass a 10-year background check.
• Meets Flight Instructor qualifications of 14 CFR 121.412.
• Preference for Mesa Airlines, Inc. employees.

Responsibilities

• Teach with enthusiasm and passion.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures.
• Identify and correct student deficiencies.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance and demeanor.
• Complete student training records in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Standards and Training or Director of Training.
