Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Flight Instructor to deliver ground and simulator training in accordance with aviation regulations and FlightSafety principles. You will develop materials, assess progress, and maintain records to support client objectives.

The role requires an ATP or ICAO ATP license, a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating, and preferred Lear 35/C-21 experience. DOT/OFAC compliance and ITAR considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Must undergo FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
• ATP certificate or ICAO ATP license required; if no ATP, meet 14 CFR 61.153 and 61.64 without SOE.
• Minimum one unrestricted PIC type rating; preferred military training or FAR Part 135/121.
• Preferred: Lear 35 type and/or C-21 flight experience (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients with core, specialty, or enrichment courses.
• Develop and prepare training materials to support delivery per curriculum.
• Evaluate trainee progress and recommend qualification or further training.
• Complete accurate training records for each client to aid objective achievement.
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance as needed.
• Maintain instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements.
