Job summary

Piedmont Airlines is seeking a Simulator Instructor to lead safe, efficient classroom and simulator training for pilots. You will apply in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems to ensure course content meets regulatory and company standards, guiding new hires and current pilots.

Ideal candidates have instructional experience, ATP rating, and a background in aviation education. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Flight Training and includes standard benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• Instructional development background and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe, efficient training of new hire and current pilots.
• Instruct in aircraft systems, company policies, and pilot-related topics.
• Monitor and evaluate training progress for line pilots.
• Maintain training facilities and records to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure course content meets regulatory and company requirements.
• Stay current with industry publications and procedures.
