Job summary

CAE is seeking an Instructor Pilot to lead high‑quality simulator and ground training, enhance pilot confidence and skills, and deliver professional pre‑ and post‑flight briefings. You will serve as a SME across assigned aircraft platforms and help maintain training records in a dynamic aviation training environment.

Requirements include ATP certification, PIC type rating preferred, FAR Part 135 experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver flight simulator and ground school training compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Strong briefing and debriefing skills for flight sessions.
• Experience as SME for client training and internal course development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flight simulator and ground school training aligned with CAE curriculum and customer expectations.
• Conduct professional pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.
• Act as SME for client training and internal course development.
• Maintain training records and qualifications, and recommend remedial training when needed.
• Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.
• Work toward qualification as Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and contract check airman after ~1.5+ years.
