Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 4+ years of engineering experience, or equivalent Bachelor’s with 6+ years.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Team leadership, customer interface, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide software engineering support to the 53d TEG Experimental Operations Unit (EOU).
• Develop, experiment, operate, iterate, and maintain flight simulator vehicle system software and Mission Autonomy software.
• Develop and maintain applications using modern web frameworks.
• Work with containerized applications and orchestration platforms.
• Collaborate on API development and system integration projects.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Work with databases and data storage solutions.
• Support monitoring, logging, and observability initiatives.
