Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a Software / Network Engineer with Linux expertise to support the 53d TEG EOU at Nellis AFB, NV.

You will join a fast-paced team delivering flight simulation software for CCA programs, working with air vehicle autonomy systems and related tools. The role requires strong Linux, Bash/Python scripting, security practices, and the ability to troubleshoot across development, integration, and flight test environments, with occasional telework as mission needs

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field with 4+ years’ engineering experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years’ engineering experience, or
• Associate’s degree with 8+ years’ engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide software engineering support to 53d TEG EOU at Nellis AFB, NV.
• Coordinate with USG and outside vendors on software and flight simulation needs.
• Ensure flight simulation software meets requirements and supports experimental operations.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers/workstations and perform security hardening.
