Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Daytona Beach is seeking a detail-oriented Flight Record Coordinator to bridge the Office of the Registrar with Daytona Beach and Prescott Flight Departments. You will ensure accurate data exchange between academic and flight systems, maintain regulatory compliance, and support audits while communicating student status through established channels.

The role requires knowledge of FAA, TSA, DOE, and VA regulations and experience in higher education record

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in administrative/compliance/higher ed/flight ops.
• Strong knowledge of FAA, DOE, TSA and VA regulations and academic policies.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with student information systems (PeopleSoft) and flight scheduling (ETA) software.
• Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate exchange of data between academic and flight operations systems.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with FAA, TSA, DOE and VA regulations.
• Support internal and external audits and resolve record discrepancies.
• Coordinate student communications through established channels.
• Maintain procedures and identify process improvements for flight training and academic records.
