Job summary

The role involves coordinating with design teams, performing inspections, developing test procedures, and contributing to conops with the ISS vehicle office. Ideal candidates have a engineering degree and hands-on space hardware experience, plus proficiency in CAD tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least two years of related experience.
• Experience developing requirements documents including success criteria.
• Experience with design, assembly, verification, testing, and operation of space hardware.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, mechanical and electrical system design, and CAD tools.
• Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at meetings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop project documentation and maintain status of drawings, procurements, risks, etc.
• Collaborate with design team and analyst to meet project requirements.
• Inspect hardware upon receipt to verify it matches drawings/models.
• Assist test rig and equipment buildup as needed.
• Analyze data from tests and report results.
• Support configuration control of project documentation.
• Develop test procedures and coordinate flight certification activities.
• Engage with NASA/JSC teams to develop integrated operation concepts (conops).
• Develop presentations and report progress to team lead.
