Job summary

Barrios Technology in Houston seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in development, manufacturing, testing, and certification of flight hardware for NASA Artemis programs. Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering; 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Ability to review TPS/DR/DTP and related documentation.
• Knowledge of space flight hardware development and certification processes.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and independent work skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; coordinate with NASA PMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, manufacturing, testing, certification, and sustaining engineering of flight hardware.
• Direct matrix organizations across requirements, design, manufacturing, testing, and certification.
• Mentor Project Engineers to improve PM effectiveness and teamwork.
• Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting across flight hardware and test articles.
• Assess results and enforce engineering task conclusions.
• Apply Project Management processes to development, sustainment or operation of flight hardware.
• Define and mitigate project risks and maintain healthy customer relationships.
• Coordinate product development phases from design to flight delivery.
