Qualifications

• BS degree in Software/Computer Engineering or Math with 10 years of software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in object‑oriented programming (C/C++).
• Experience with firmware, embedded software, and hardware/software integration.
• Experience leading troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis in lab environments.
• Knowledge of serial and packet‑based communication protocols (RS‑232/422/485, TCP/IP).
• Experience with Git‑based platforms (GitLab, GitHub) and version control practices.
• Leadership across multi‑disciplinary teams and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, integration, and verification of flight software.
• Provide technical leadership across the full software lifecycle.
• Define software architectures and interfaces with hardware teams.
• Lead analysis and verification of software performance on integrated systems.
• Drive risk identification, fault analysis, and mitigation for flight software.
• Guide hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing and embedded system validation.
• Support Agile development cycles and program milestones.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for system‑level integration.
• Represent the software team during major reviews and milestones.
