Air Evac Lifeteam seeks a Flight Paramedic to transport patients and respond to scene calls. You will provide advanced life support, perform prehospital and inter-facility care, and ensure accurate documentation during high-safety operations.

Candidates should have EMT-P and multiple certifications, with FP-C within 24 months. Expect base checks, flight duties, and collaboration with pilots and EMS partners across various missions.

Formación

• Three years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• EMT-P license in states served.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight.
• FP-C certification required within 24 months of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP and ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency via ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Track licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and advanced procedures in Education Manual.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and routine maintenance.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and public.
• Serve as a medical flight member and participate in briefings/debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot assistance when needed.
• Follow safety standards to ensure safety of crew, patient, and equipment.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts as directed by Regional Director.
