Air Evac Lifeteam seeks a Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transport specialists, delivering high-quality patient care during interfacility and scene transports. You will work with a professional crew, adhering to rigorous safety standards and documentation practices.

You will be responsible for ongoing readiness, complete patient assessments, and critical care interventions from takeoff to handoff, while maintaining compliance with licensure and certification requirements.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required timeframe.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain proficiency through ongoing training and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety and procedures as required.
• Operate and maintain equipment and supplies used by emergency crews.
• Foster positive relationships with partners, hospitals and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in briefings.
