Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Oklahoma seeks a Flight Paramedic to join our airborne medical transport team. You will provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from scene to hospital, perform in-flight care, and maintain complete patient care documentation for each mission.

This role requires EMT-P, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and trauma certifications, with FP-C due within 24 months of hire; instructor certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• FP-C required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff to receiving facility.
• Maintain and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight.
• Assist with pre-mission liftoff checklists and mission debriefings.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain flight crew readiness and safety standards.
