Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join a team of air transport professionals delivering safe patient care during transport to and from facilities and in scene calls. You will perform advanced life support and maintain detailed documentation.

Applicants should have 3+ years in a911/critical care, EMT-P certification, and required certifications; FP-C within 24 months is expected. Opportunities for flight operations and crew support are available in the Geary, OK area.

Formación

• 3+ years' experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff, with thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure/certifications/continuing education records in Education Manual.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Function as a medical flight member.
• Attend pre-mission and post-mission briefings and complete documentation.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot assistance as needed.
• Comply with safety standards for crew, patient and equipment before liftoff.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as required.
• Fill open or vacant shifts per Regional Director.
