Air Evac Lifeteam in Oklahoma is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our air‑transport team providing advanced life support during interfacility transports and scene calls. Your duties emphasize safety, high-quality patient care, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include completing patient care records, base checks, and pre-/intra-hospital care, maintaining licensure, and supporting liftoff and mission processes.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilidades

• Completion and submission of electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the timeframe.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency via ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure/certification documentation and continuing education records.
• Knowledgeable in equipment maintenance and supply use for emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Function as a medical flight team member; attend mission briefings and debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checks and pilot support as needed.
• Comply with safety standards to ensure safety before liftoff.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within assigned area as directed by Regional Director.
