Air Evac Lifeteam is seeking a Flight Paramedic to provide advanced life support on dispatched flights. You will complete patient care documentation, perform base checks, and deliver pre-hospital and intra-hospital care from initial contact to hand-off to receiving facilities.

Role requires a minimum of 3 years in 911 or critical care, EMT-P licensure in area states, and required certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/trauma).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in states served by area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsabilités

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to hand-off.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures per policy.
• Operate and maintain emergency equipment and supplies.
• Foster positive relationships with EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Fulfill role as a medical flight team member; attend pre/post mission briefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot support as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards for self, crew, patients, and equipment.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings; fill shifts as directed by Regional Director.
