Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in the United States is hiring a Flight Paramedic to support air medical transports and scene calls. You will perform advanced life support, document patient care, and participate in pre-mission briefings while upholding safety standards.

Must have at least 3 years in a911/critical care, EMT-P licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and FP-C within 24 months. Instructor certs are a plus; NREMT-P may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care.
• Maintain licensure, certifications and continuing education records.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of equipment and supplies used by the program.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings; complete documentation.
