Job summary

Eastern Air Express – Manager of SOC in Greensboro, NC is a full-time leadership role reporting to the Director of Operations. The manager will oversee day-to-day flight planning and flight following operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient, safe turnaround of flights.

Requirements include 3–5 years in flight dispatch or flight following, supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in aircraft dispatch or flight following for Part 121/135 carrier
• Supervisory/leadership experience preferred (3-5 years)
• 3-5 years of customer service experience in airline/travel environment preferred
• Able to work any shift including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
• Eligible to work in the United States and able to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Oversees flight following to ensure professional operations and compliance with FAA regulations, GOM, SOCM, and OpSpecs
• Develops policies and procedures to enhance safety and efficiency
• Manages flight followers and ensures flights are planned per regulations and policies
• Coordinates training and qualifications for flight following staff
• Liaises with outside vendors to maintain reliable systems and identify improvements
• Generates reports and maintains records for reporting, currency, accounting and retention
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
