Job summary

Eastern Air Express seeks a Maintenance Manager in Greensboro, NC to oversee day-to-day aircraft maintenance, ensuring compliance with FAR requirements and safety standards. You will coordinate with flight crews and SOC staff, manage discrepancies, and drive timely aircraft return to service.

The candidate should have an FAA A&P certificate, at least five years in a Part 121/145 environment, and strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience on Boeing 737s is highly preferred.
• Five+ years in commercial aircraft in a Part 121/145 environment required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison for the maintenance department with Operations, Flight Crews, and others.
• Primary contact for all mechanical discrepancies affecting daily operations.
• Assess whether discrepancies are deferrable under MEL/NEF guidelines.
• Coordinate with maintenance providers to return aircraft to service with minimal downtime.
• Coordinate travel to/from an AOG aircraft for flight mechanics.
• Enter maintenance discrepancies into tracking systems.
• Determine corrective actions using service history, manuals, and guidelines.
• Promote teamwork among maintenance personnel and flight crews.
• Uphold safety and security procedures at all times.
• Pursue additional qualifications through training when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
