Job summary

Eastern Air Express in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Manager of SOC to oversee day-to-day flight following, planning, and logistics for aircraft, security, personnel and costs. The role requires a thorough understanding of FAR Part 121 flight following requirements and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft dispatch or flight following for Part 121/135 airlines.
• 3-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• 3-5 years of customer service in airline/travel environments.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day flight following and flight planning.
• Ensure operations comply with FAA regulations, GOM, SOCM, and OpSpecs.
• Manage flight followers and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Coordinate recurrent training and onboarding of new hires.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to maintain system reliability and drive improvements.
• Produce reports and maintain department records.
