Job summary

Eastern Air Express is seeking a full-time Maintenance MGR in Greensboro, NC. The role reports to the Director of Maintenance and collaborates with flight crews and SOC staff to manage daily aircraft maintenance across the fleet.

A&P certification and strong attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance events, communicating effectively with operations, and ensuring compliance with FARs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required.
• 5+ years experience in commercial aircraft (part 121/145) preferred.
• 2+ years experience on Boeing 737s preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and wiring diagrams.
• Uphold safety and security procedures and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison on behalf of the maintenance department with Operations, Flight Crews, and others as needed.
• Primary contact for all mechanical discrepancies affecting daily operations.
• Coordinate MEL/NEF deferrals with maintenance teams.
• Work with maintenance providers to return aircraft to service with minimal downtime.
• Enter maintenance discrepancies into tracking systems and determine corrective actions.
