Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Flight Operations Support role within the Inflight Team of the Customer Experience Division. You will act as a liaison across departments, lead reliability efforts, and assist with crew scheduling and incident response to maintain on-time departures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• PC, Sabre, DECS, and RES experience required.
• Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Must work on-site at assigned base/location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison with local and system departments (IOC, Control Center, etc.).
• Lead dependability engagement and ensure operational reliability.
• Respond to flight delays and provide crew assistance or delay mitigation.
• Coordinate with Daily Ops/IOC for injuries and emergencies.
• Inform stakeholders about operational irregularities and updates.
