Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a role within the Inflight Team, part of the Customer Experience Division, to support Flight Attendants and help drive on-time departures through strong intra- and inter-department collaboration. The position involves coordinating with IOC, Crew Scheduling and daily ops, plus handling delays and safety compliance.

You will be expected to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, on-site at the base, and participate in ongoing training and FAA/security

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• PC, Sabre, DECS, and RES experience.
• Must be able to work shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work on-site at assigned base/location.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with local and system departments (IOC, Control Center, Customer Care, Crew Scheduling).
• Oversee base operational reliability and interdepartmental accountability.
• Coordinate with Daily Operations/IOC for crew injuries/aircraft emergencies.
• Provide base guidance and support to Flight Attendants.
• Respond to delays and communicate operational irregularities to leadership.
• Assist with administrative duties and delay investigations.
