Job summary

American Airlines is seeking an Inflight Hub Control Center Specialist to join the Inflight Team within the Customer Experience Division. You will represent Inflight in the Hub Control Center, supporting reliability metrics and collaborating with crews and departments to drive on-time departures.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with Hub Control Center leaders, monitoring crew assignments, and triaging incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to SIDA, if applicable.
• Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
• Must pass U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated drug test.
• Able to push/pull force of up to 60 pounds.
• Available to work shifts that include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to perform emergency evacuation drills.

Responsibilities

• Represent Inflight in the Hub Control Center and support operational reliability metrics.
• Collaborate with Hub Control Center leaders to support operations.
• Review flights and checks for potential crew misconnects.
• Monitor crew assignments to minimize delays or interruptions.
• Coordinate with other departments to mitigate issues and support on-time departures.
• Assist with delay investigations and daily/monthly reports.
