Job summary

Cape Air in Hyannis, MA seeks Flight Followers to coordinate minute-to-minute daily operations from SOC. You will act as the central communications hub for pilots, station operations, maintenance, and flight management, ensuring the safe and compliant execution of the daily schedule.

You will complete competency checks, monitor NOTAMs and weather for legality, and participate in decision making during irregularities.

Qualifications

• Part 121 Dispatch Certificate preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and adapt under pressure.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the safe operation of the daily company flight schedule.
• Acts as the center of communication for pilots, station operations agents, maintenance personnel, and flight management personnel
• Performs duties from SOC at Hyannis headquarters.
• Monitors and ensures accuracy of FLIFO and flight data
• Maintains open dialogue with SOC Supervisors and supports desk coverage as a team
• Addresses workload spikes due to weather, delays, or disruptions and assists others as needed
• Completes competency checks with ATS and annual recurrent training
