Job summary

Mountain Air Cargo seeks a Flight Follower for the Operations Control Center to help manage flights with safety and efficiency. You will plan, release and monitor flights per Federal Regulations and MAC policies, supporting SOPs and IROPS.

You will gather weather and aeronautical information, coordinate with maintenance, ensure ground handling and ATC compliance, maintain logs, and communicate delays to the team. Strong English, MS Office skills, and organization are essential.

Qualifications

  • High-school diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid FAA Part 121 Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate is required.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year criminal history and background check.
  • DOT Drug Screen and enrollment in our Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, release and monitor flights in accordance with applicable regulations and MAC policies.
  • Monitor the status of all company flights from pre-flight planning to arrival.
  • Work in a team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Collect weather and aeronautical information for Flight Crews.
  • Ensure ground handling, deicing, fuel, slots, and permits are in order before release.
  • Identify delays and take corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Control to ensure safe operation and compliance.
