Job summary

Southwest Airlines in Boston is seeking an Operations Agent to help flights take off safely and on time. You’ll help Customers board, check flight details like weight and balance, and liaise with airport teams to keep operations running smoothly. This role is based at the Boston airport and offers comprehensive benefits.

This role is part of a collective bargaining agreement with pay and schedules set by the union. Work schedules may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.

• Coordinate Ramp, Operations, Provisioning and servicing aircraft to ensure on-time departures

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly service to customers and maintains positive relationships.
• Coordinates loading/unloading of aircraft by monitoring ramp activities.
• Operates boarding bridge and coordinates with Gate Agents.
• Prepares dispatch release forms and collects weather reports for the Crew.
• Arranges for fueling and provisioning as required to depart on time.
