Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing or related)
• 1+ years in manufacturing, quality or design engineering; student/internship counts

Responsibilities

• Partner with design, test, and manufacturing to ensure avionics reliability
• Track yield, escapes and lessons learned for NPIs
• Develop and validate lean test and inspection processes
• Monitor product and process performance through ramp-up
• Conduct build quality reviews for design intent and manufacturability
• Investigate failures and identify root causes to reduce risk
• Perform root-cause analysis using schematics and test equipment
• Conduct gage R&R studies for test systems
• Contain non-conforming product and guide remediation on the shop floor
• Support continuous improvement and lean autonomous production on the floor
