Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Hardware Reliability Specialist for Starlink Aviation in the United States. You will diagnose complex electronic systems, perform root cause investigations, and collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams to boost reliability in harsh aircraft environments.

The role requires hands-on debugging, data-driven analysis, and strong communication to drive engineering improvements and prevent future failures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 1+ years in engineering, reliability, manufacturing or quality.
• Experience with electrical debugging tools like oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of circuit schematics, analog/digital signals, RF and semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical debugging and fault isolation on complex electronic systems.
• Conduct root cause investigations identifying failure modes and mechanisms.
• Apply first principles to debug and find patterns across failing units.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hypotheses.
• Collaborate with design to implement changes preventing future failures.
• Analyze production, test, and field data to inform improvements and proactive strategies.
